Research sites

Unknowing Animals is based on research with animal behaviour experts who practice "critical anthropomorphism" in two research sites, both of whom are based on phenomenological epistemologies. Maisie explores the tensions between the “critical” and the “anthropomorphic”, self and other, human and animal in these practices. Click below to find out more.
